Getting started
Use the website to find centre information, book events and courses, join community conversations, use Buy & Sell, and keep track of your activity through your personal dashboard.
- Use the top navigation to open Events, Courses, Community, Help or your account menu.
- Create an account if you want to book, message, post or view your personal history.
- Keep your account details accurate so staff can contact you about bookings or support requests.
Account and dashboard
Your dashboard is the main place for personal activity. After logging in, open the account menu in the top right and choose My Dashboard.
Use your dashboard to:
- Check your event and course activity.
- Open your history where records are available.
- Access community features linked to your account.
- Return to messages, marketplace enquiries and other account tools.
Events and courses
Events are centre activities, workshops and social sessions. Courses are learning opportunities that can build a record in your account. Open any listing to check dates, times, cost, location, availability and booking instructions.
Before booking
- Check the date, time, location and any eligibility notes.
- Make sure you are logged in if the booking requires an account.
- Contact the centre if you need help with accessibility, transport, attendance or course suitability.
If you cannot attend
Bookings can be cancelled from the event or course page, or from your dashboard, until payment has been recorded. Please contact the manager if you need help with a paid booking.
Buy & Sell and messages
The Buy & Sell area is for useful local listings. Messages are used for marketplace enquiries and replies.
Posting a listing
- Add a clear title and accurate description.
- State whether the item is free, for sale or wanted.
- Include collection details without sharing unnecessary personal information.
- Remove or update the listing when it is no longer available.
Replying safely
Keep arrangements clear, meet in a sensible place where possible, and report any suspicious message to staff.
Accessibility tools
The accessibility button lets you adjust text size, contrast and motion preferences. These settings are saved in your browser so the site remains easier to use on later visits.
- Use text size controls if content is too small.
- Use high contrast or soft contrast if the standard colours are difficult to read.
- Use reduce motion if animations or movement are distracting.
- Use the Skip to main content link when navigating by keyboard.
Report an issue
If something is broken, unclear or unsafe, send the centre team enough detail to investigate it quickly.
For website problems, include:
- The page you were using, such as Events, Courses, Community or Messages.
- What you tried to do and what happened instead.
- Your device and browser if you know them.
- Any error message shown on screen.
- A screenshot if it helps explain the problem.
For safety or content concerns, include:
- The name of the page or chat area.
- The username or listing involved, if visible.
- The date and approximate time.
- A short explanation of why it needs attention.
